Latihan Dasar Kepemimpinan (LDK)
SEMARANG – Jum’at tanggal 26 November 2021 telah dilaksanakan suatu kegiatan yaitu Latihan Dasar Kepemimpinan Jurusan Kebidanan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah sebagai penerus bangsa diharapkan mahasiswa jurusan kebidanan tidak terlepas dari generasi muda untuk menerapkan, mengikuti pelatihan dasar organisasi ini. Tidak hanya dapat berkembang di bidang akademik melainkan non akademik yaitu melalui organisasi Hima Dema.
Pengisi acara pada kegiatan Latihan dasar kepemimpinan kali ini adalah Deby Agus Santoso yang merupakan seorang coach trainer. Tema pada kegiatan ini yaitu “Development of women leadership, critical thinking and public speaking for students in the era of the industrial revolution 4.0 and society 5.0”. Point point yang dijelaskan salah satunya yaitu pengertian public speaking bahwasanya public speaking itu bukan hanya sekedar berbicara di depan umum, pada saat kita berjalan menuju panggung, penonton sudah melihat dan memperhatikan kita, jadi pengertian public speaking merupakan seni berbicara di depan umum untuk menyampaikan informasi dengan baik dan benar.
Adapun manfaat dari public speaking yaitu meningkatkan rasa percaya diri, skill berkomunikasi menjadi lebih bagus, meningkatkan pencapaian prestasi, public speaking juga sudah terpakai sejak menjadi seorang mahasiswa dan sangat dibutuhkan dalam pencapaian karir. Dengan kita meningkatkan public speaking dalam diri kita, kita bisa meningkatkan jiwa kepemimpinan dalam diri kita.
