“Welcome Party” Rangkaian Pengenalan Program Studi Mahasiswa Baru
Purwokerto. 31 Juli 2018. Sebagai Mahasiswa Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang pasti kalian tahu dengan yang Namanya Welcome Party. Ya Welcome Party adalah salah satu serangkaian kegiatan PPSM yang dilaksanakan pada masing-masing program studi. Tujuan kegiatan Welcome Party yaitu untuk menyambut dan memperkenalkan jurusan atau program studi, dan lingkungan kampus.
Di Kampus 7 Poltekkes Kemenkes Semarang yang terletak di Baturaden Purwokerto pada Hari Selasa, 31 Juli 2018 prodi kami, D III Kebidanan Purwokerto mengadakan Welcome Party 2018 dengan mengusung tema “Aktualisasi Pendidikan Karakter Sebagai Pembentuk Generasi Berbudi Pekerti Luhur”. Acara ini diikuti oleh mahasiswa baru sejumlah 50 orang. Selain itu acara tersebut juga diikuti oleh dosen dan karyawan Prodi D III Kebidanan Purwokerto sejumlah 22 orang, perwakilan Keluarga Besar Mahasiswa, dan panitian Hima dan Dema 21 orang.
Sejak pukul 06.00 WIB mahasiswa baru telah berkumpul di depan ruang Q didampingi panitia untuk mempersiapkan perlengkapan masing-masing mahasiswa. Setelah seluruh mahasiswa baru hadir, mereka diarahkan menuju ruang Q untuk mengikuti acara Welcome Party. Sebelum dimulainya acara disisipkan sosialisasi keamanan kampus oleh Bapak Widi dan Bapak Darsam selaku security di Kampus 7 Poltekkes Semarang selama 30 menit.
Welcome Party dimulai pukul 08.00 WIB dengan diawali menyanyikan lagu Indonesia Raya, Hymne Poltekkes Semarang, dan Mars Poltekkes Semarang dijanjutkan sambutan ketua panitia dan ucapan selamat dating oleh Kepala Prodi D III Kebidanan Purwokerto Ibu Suparmi S.Pd, STr.Keb, M.Kes. beliau juga melanjutkan dengan memperkenalkan profil prodi dan segenap dosen dan karyawan. Acara berlanjut dengan perkenalan fasilitas dalam prodi D III Kebidanan Purwokerto. Tak hanya itu, ada juga hiburan yang ikut meramaikan acara Welcome Party 2018 ini. Hiburan yang pertama ada penampilan Tari Lenggasor persembahan dari UKM Tari Tradisional. Sebelum ishoma panitia menghadirkan salah satu alumni D III Kebidanan Purwokerto yaitu Dina dalam sharing alumni yang setiap tahunnya selalu ada dalam acara Welcome Party.
Berlanjut ke acara inti yaitu ada pengenalan PBM, pengenalan SKKM hingga kemahasiswaan yang disampaikan oleh beberapa dosen D III Kebidanan Purwokerto. Tak lupa hiburan kedua yaitu penampilan music dari UKM Paduan Suara. Pengenalan fasilitas kampus dengan metode keliling lingkungan kampus. Mahasiswa baru juga diarahkan untuk melakukan inkulturasi dengan menemui dosen pembimbing akademiknya masing-masing. Acara ditutup dengan foto bersama satu angkatan.
Dalam acara ini peserta terlihat antusias dan semangat dari awal hingga akhir. Semoga Welcome Party tahun selanjutnya juga dapat berjalan dengan lancar juga peserta yang luar biasa sama seperti tahun ini.
